Service Description

EMDR helps people process and integrate traumatic memories that are "stuck" in the brain in unprocessed or maladaptive ways. It does so by using bilateral stimulation (typically guided eye movement) while the client briefly focuses on a traumatic memory. This process facilitates the brain’s natural healing mechanisms through neural pathways.
